- The rigidity of the waterfall model can be a strength as each phase need to be perfect so immense effort will put in by developer in each phase
- Waterfall model rely heavily on documentation so it is easy for new resource to move in
2. Agile methodology
Agile emerges due to the failure of the waterfall model in handling complex projects. Agile focuses on a fast and flexible approach as it is iterative with small incremental changes that respond to changing requirements.
Advantages of using Agile:
- Flexibility and freedom: since there are no fixes on requirements, it give room to make changes and add new requirements
- Lower risk: with agile, you usually will get feedback from stakeholders so this will lower the risk.
