[KIT] How to make dumpling wrappers

Hi! There I hope you are doing ok. I know you feel bored right now you want to go out but you can’t because of the lockdown and stuff me too. I can’t really go anywhere. So today I will tell you what I did during my time of lockdown as you can guess because of the title of this article. Yes, I started to cook so many different dishes but today I will show you how to make dumplings. It was my favourite dish and it is an easy dish to make as well. 

So first of all you have to have the ingredients for the wrappers are 9oz of all-purpose flour (250g) with ½ teaspoon of salt and ½ cup of water (125ml). For this part, you can make dumpling dough yourself or buy the wrappers from the market. For me, I like to make wrappers on my own since it is more testy and soft than the wrappers that we buy from the market. To start you have to put the 250g flour into the big bowl and mix it up with ½ tablespoon of salt. After that you can add ½ cup of water to the flour then you mix flour and water till it becomes a dough. After that you have to mix the dough till it comes together by hand then you bring the dough out of the bowl and knead the dough for 10 minutes till the dough is smooth. After that, you put the dough back in the bowl and cover the bowl and also put some flour in the bowl so the dough will not stick to the bowl after you let it rest for 1 hour. After 1 hour take the dough out of the bowl and put it on the flat surface like a cutting board. Then make a hole in the middle of the dough to form the 1inch (2.5cm) thick ring out of the dough. After that, you have to cut those ring dough into 24 equal pieces. After that you can cost those small pieces of dough with the cornstarch or flour then you can start to make the wrappers but to prevent the other dough from drying you have to cover it with the damp cloth. To start making the wrappers you take one piece of dough and put it on the flat surface then press on the dough and start to roll ⅓ in and twist the dough around so that the edge of the wrappers will be thinner than the centre of the wrappers. Then you keep on rolling the dough till it becomes a 3 inch (8cm) disk. After you get it you must put some cornstarch or flour around the wrappers.
