These are the most popular ride hailing apps in Cambodia Grab, PassApp, WeGo, TADA, Eagle. Grab is the idea of creating a taxi-booking mobile app for Southeast Asia founded in Singapore 2012. In Asia, Grab has operated in Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesiam, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan. Grab has launched in Cambodia since December 19, 2017 and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport of Cambodia (MPWT) to support the Kingdom’s Infrastructure, improve road safety and traffic management in Cambodia. Grab has provided the safety services by selecting the best drivers and provides training on sage driving to all drivers. Grab checks all drivers to ensure they have proper driving licences and passengers can see their drivers’ name, vehicle number and photo, ID in the Grab app. PassApp is a taxi booking service based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia started by Top Nimol on November 12, 2016. The application allows passengers to book a cab, tuktuk, rickshaw with taximeter anytime they go for a flight to the airport if they are running late for day job, or getting home late at night with the guarantee to get safe and always on time. WeGo is one of the leading ride hailing taxi apps in Cambodia which has provided taxis meter service booking for smartphones. WeGo offers educated drivers and fare riding calculation for passengers. The passenger can order riding with the multi-thousand of driver members including traditional TukTuk, Rickshaw, Car Sedan, Car SUV. Another one is TADA is Singapore’s new ride hailing service app which takes special care of customers’ needs during peak hours and by covering a wider service area. They offer a stress free riding experience. It launched in Cambodia in January 2019. The last one is Eagle, the other best Cambodia Taxis and TukTuk booking app. It is very good and comfortable to experiment with Eagle services.
