Kampot is one of a famous tourism destinations in Cambodia known for its Nature-based tourism along with other forms of tourism that both local and international tourists can experience. 1. Bokor Mountain

Bokor Hill is located 42 km from the town of Kompot. Bokor was a resort location for affluent French colonists, and now developed in to a very potential tourist destination attracts many tourists everyday. This place is approximately 1075 meters high, with good weather and spectacular views which is suitable for those who love nature and relaxing atmosphere.

This place is the main attraction in Kampot province. There we have many places tourists can visit such as Sompov Bram Pagoda, Bokor Le Palace Hotel, Popokvil waterfall, Hydroponic Farm, etc.

This is the main attraction in and around Kampot. Unfortunately at the time of writing it is largely closed to visitors as the road is being repaired. Bokor hill station was built by the French as a high-altitude complement to the fashionable seaside resort of Kep across the bay. Both are now faded and crumbling in a very atmospheric fashion. Bokor was also the scene of fierce fighting in the ’80s, with Khmer Rouge and Vietnamese troops battling it out across the mountaintop for control of the buildings and the rest of this strategic area of high ground.

2. River Park: Kayaking and Zip-line

River Park is a man-made type of tourist destination with nature located in Teuk Chhou area approximately 10 kilometers from the city, Kampot. There, tourists normally go and visit at the weekend to escape from the city to get the fresh air and see the beauty of nature. Besides that, they can ride the boat along the river and can also get to experience other games and activities such zip lines and kayaking. This place is very suitable for groups of friends to enjoy their holiday and to escape from the boring and busy city.

3. Brateak Krola Lake

Brateak Krola Lake is a natural tourist destination located in Bosnhenh village Kon Sat commune Teuk Chhou district Kompot province about 20 kilometers from Kompot city. Both national and international tourists go there to witness the beautiful landscape with no polluted surrounding. Travelers can also order food to eat there and ride the boats along the lake with acceptable price to reduce stresses. This place is very suitable for families and groups of friends and those who love nature and far away from crowds typed of destination with less commercialized and developed.

4. Domboung Island: A place for Party

Domboung is a new resort opened to the public located in Sangkat Trery Koh approximately 9 kilometers from the city of Kampot, but received a huge numbers of local visitors due to its amazing and unique attraction. There, tourists can spend their leisure time on the exquisite views of Bokor Mountain range, taking photos, kayaking, etc. Besides that, the resort also offers many other services including accommodations with acceptable price, places or sets for pre-weeding, and for celebrating other events such as birthday party or anniversary. This place is also suitable for newly-weds for their honeymoon destination. A group of friend is recommended due to it open space fitted for party, playing guitar, or making BBQ with campfire.

5. Railroad: A Photoshoot Set

This railroad is an old road which aged decades and is now a famous place for taking photo for both locals and international tourists. People also go there to have there pre-weeding photo shot.
