Cambodia is one of the southeast Asian countries that has a long living culture and as of now, those culture seems to remove for some but still have another rule of culture that stay still. Such as the law of boy and girl, the rule of manner, the married culture, etc. These are brief that Cambodian people follow. And this article is about how to be a perfect Cambodian child that should follow the law of boy and girl. So, this article will be divided into two-part that the first one is talking about the boy, and the second one talks about the girl. Noted here, the law was created a long time and I will show some parts that match our environment and society. Some law was not used since it’s so strict and hard to do and maybe not usable in this era.

The law of boys in Cambodia, mostly all men should do follow it. Even though it is hard to follow, they must have some important part of it. Those important parts like getting high education and working in a good position, we do respect and practice a proper manner and also kindness, we do know our parent’s effort, feeling(care) and love, being a good husband. The first thing that a perfect man, is getting a high level of education and getting a good job that can feed the whole family and future wife. This is the thing that Khmer people would like all of their sons to follow. Meanwhile, they got a good position and high education, they should not forget their manner and respect. They should behave a different characteristics base on the people they met. Such as old people they should respect them as young people respect older, also respect parents and friend in the other way. The kindness of every man should not forget. They could help the other people that have not enough strength to carry on to be overcome it. Like when the old people need help, they can help them by as much as they can do. For their parents, Cambodians who believe in Buddha, they are fully respected and know the effort of their parents. They do love their parents the most. They must be satisfied with their parent’s wishes such as a good job and a good wife. The last important point is each man should be a perfect husband that should not betray his wife, take care of her and learn to be a good father for new children.

Then, the law of girls in Cambodia, which is similar to men but strictly in housework, not outside work. But some parts of this law doesn’t work in this generation. So, I will mention only some important parts only. Such as women should learn how to be a good manner in maybe 30+ conditions, they should learn how to do housework, they should learn to be a good wife. The manner of every woman is very important to show that they are a perfect Cambodian woman. It is really hard to follow the 30+ conditions but they must follow some of the users in each of them. Just like how they walk, what should they behave to every kind of people, duty to do housework, take care house and do some artwork at home. The other thing is the behavior to be a wife and a future mother. Every woman should know how to maintain their house, prepare food and keep clean everywhere.

To sum up, these parts that boy and girl should or must do should be followed by the book that was written by old writer and publish as the first time.
