Face classification/recognition is a technology that matching a given image or video frame by extract some importance feature to compare with other face in the database to find the similarity.
Some people confuse between face recognition and face detection. What is the difference between face recognition and face recognition?
Face Detection is just a technology that we try to find the face in the picture and the position of the face without recognize or do anything with the face.
But Face recognition we try to extract some importance feature and try to recognize who is this face.
It is easy to use only machine learning to predict some thing like text, number but it is not easy when we use machine learning without deep learning for image classification. Normally in image classification we use CNN to classify each image by extract importance feature then train with many layers. But in this article i will show you how i built a model with machine learning to classify the face.
