The skill of Web analysts is so required mainly because of the digital shift of companies and society. For example,as you feel, automotive industry is needed to provide not a car but a new mobility with the rise of the above technologies.
However, no matter how many new technologies you can face, the fundamentals regarding decision making / action with data remains unchanged. On the contrary, no matter how much the latest trends you catch up,you will find it difficult to lead to your business performance.
