Web Analytics Consultants Association Membership

Membership is opened for Members who agree with Web Analytics Consultants Association’s code of conduct. Web Analytics Consultants Association’s work is supported by members who is willing to make contribution.

Membership Categories

Membership Category Description
Official Membership Members can be as a part of Waca Analytics Consultants Association.
However, official members are required to take Associate Web Analytics Consultant (AWAC) course and have paid their annual fees.There are 2 types of official membership.

  1. Official Non-certified membership
  2. Official certified membership
Free Member Members who have joined as free members.
Corporate Membership Corporate members can be as a part of Waca Analytics Consultants Association.
However, joining of Corporate Members is subject to approval from board members of Web Analytics Consultants Association.

Official Membership

Official Membership is open for Members who attended WACA’s course. There are 2 types of official membership.

1. Official Non Certified Membership


Official Non Certified Membership are open for members who took Associate Web Analytics Consultant (AWAC) course but have not passed the certified examination.
Official Members also know as “supporting Members” in Japanese.

Description Official Non Certified Membership
Benefit
  1. Members can enjoy discount or have privilege to join WACA organized/ sponsored event.
  2. Members can post their success story or plan on WACA or media partner’s website.
  3. Members are entitled to enjoy free or discount on WACA’s official textbook, course or examination.
  4. Members will have a WACA membership number once they joined the Membership, they can state the WACA membership number on their business card or website together with the title of “WACA official Membership”.
    Additionally, Members can file a profile about themselves on WACA’s website as official Membership.
  5. Members can enjoy 50% discount on purchasing the latest textbook of WACA.
  6. Members are entitled for take Associate Web Analytics Consultant (AWAC) course and Certification examination for twice and for free.
Requirements of Joining Membership
  1. Attended WACA’s course.
  2. Pay joining fee (USD 100) annual fee (USD 100).
 Renewal of Membership Membership is valid for one year. Reminder on annual fee’s renewal will be sent every year end via email. Members who joined membership between January to October is required to pay annual fee for the following year starting from November.
How to Maintain Membership 
  1. Pay for annual free.
  2. Update profile on WACA’s website.

Members are required to sit for a follow-up test. Follow-up test allows members to test their understanding about latest curriculum. Follow-up test is an online test with no time limitation, members can take the test wherever / whenever they want to. However members are required to sit for the exam based on their rank.

  • AWAC Members are required to pass follow-up test for AWAC.
  • SWAC Members are required to pass follow-up test for SWAC.
  • WAM Members are required to pass follow-up test for WAM.

2. Official Certified Membership


Official certified membership is open for members who took Associate Web Analytics Consultant (AWAC) course and have passed the certified examination.

Additionally, Members can create a profile about themselves on WACA’s website as official certified Membership.

Free Membership

Free Membership is open for Members who are interested with WACA’s organized event or content.

Description Official Membership

  1. Members can enjoy discount or have privilege to join WACA organized/ sponsored event.
  2. Members will be receiving news or information on success story of WACA’s media partner or guidance about events via email etc.
  3. Members are entitled to enjoy discount on service’s solution under Waca’s support program.
Requirements of Joining Membership
  1. Share the same mission and vision with WACA.
  2. Join event for Web Analytics Consultant’s event and agree to receive news/updates from WACA.
  3. Share personal information such as email address and contact number to WACA. Should update WACA immediately regarding changes of personal information.

Corporate Membership

Corporate membership is open for corporate members who refer the trainings and activities of Web Analytics Consultants to other potential members.

There are 2 types of corporate membership:

  1. Corporate membership A
  2. Corporate membership B

Benefit

  1. Corporate members can state their membership qualification on business card or website. Additionally, corporate members can create profile by adding the info of can state their corporate logo and name on WACA’s website.
  2. Corporate members are entitled to organize WACA’s training and examination. In that case, they can enjoy discount by organizing their employee’s training and examination.
  3. Corporate members can enjoy discount or have privilege to join WACA organized/ sponsored event.
  4. Corporate members can post their success story or plan on WACA or media partner’s website.
  5. Corporate members are entitled to enjoy free or discount on WACA’s official textbook, course or examination.
  6. Corporate members are allowed to pay annual fees on behalf of their employees.
    Additionally, corporate members are entitled to enjoy discount on payment for annual fee if the numbers fulfill the requirements.

Requirements of Joining Membership

  1. Share the same vision and mission with WACA.
  2. Train employees to become Web Analytics consultants and ensure they are well-trained.
  3. Appoint and train person in charge in order to manage in-house Web Analytics consultants.

However, joining of Corporate Members is subject to approval from board members of Web Analytics Consultants Association.

Renewal of Membership

The due date of annual fee payment is end of January (current year). In order to maintain corporate membership, corporate members need to confirm the numbers of in-house Web Analytics Consultants.

Membership can be cancelled even after the annual fee payment has been made if the corporate members do not meet the requirements to maintain the membership.

WACA is officially recruiting corporate member starting in 2018. Therefore, corporate members are entitled to enjoy 50% discount of annual fee, from year 2018 to 2020.

*Please contact WACA if corporate member’s in-house Web Analytics Consultants exceed 200 pax and limited to 10,000 pax per corporate member only.

How to Maintain Membership

In order to maintain corporate membership, corporate members need to achieve certain passing rate for the follow-up test. Passing rate for corporate membership A is 100% whereas corporate membership B’s passing rate is set at 80%.

The ratio of passing rate is counted based on

members who sit for follow-up test(current year)÷
numbers of renewal of in-house web analytics consultant

1. Corporate membership A

Corporate members A are entitled to have latest WACA textbook for free, with limitation as per maximum number of employees according to the plan. Textbook can be used during in-house training course or during employee’s private time. However, textbook is prohibited from being resold. This is the suitable plan for corporate people who want to train their in-house Web Analytics Consultants. However, corporate members are required to renew the membership of all their in-house Web Analytics Consultants.

2. Corporate membership B

Corporate members B can enjoy discount up to 80% when purchasing WACA latest textbook (same discount rate as organizer). Additionally, discount on payment of annual fee is available. This is the suitable plan for corporate people who already have in-house Web Analycis Consultants and wish to put them under corporate management. However, corporate members are required to renew the membership up to 80% out of total of all their in-house Web Analytics Consultants.
